What's New: Otto on Origami; Stephen on Sudoku

Check out today’s Seattle Times interview with Otto, who was out and about with an Origami device at--where else?--a Seattle coffee shop with wifi. There are some cool pics and videos of the device and of various programs in action.

Also, Stephen Toub has published an article on MSDN (available tomorrow) that discusses the development of Sudoku for the Ultra-Mobile PC. Stephen, who graciously worked with the Origami Project team to create this tablet pen and touch version of the popular numbers game, is a technical lead for MSDN and the technical editor for MSDN Magazine. As you’ll see from Stephen’s article, he’s passionate about the game, the code, and the written word. Kudos to Stephen.

oops...

Turns out Stephen's article isn't available outside of Microsoft until tomorrow as others on this site have already pointed out.

The source code is availabe so I added that link.

Thanks for pointing out the problem.

I am really glad that Microsoft decided to release the source code to a game that they are releasing with the UMPC.

It shows that they are really trying to hook onto the developers market with this.  Hopefully more things like this come out in the future.
