Will my UMPC help me win my Fantasy Football league?

After years of getting kicked around in my fantasy football league, I think this is my year. With me and my UMPC I'll have access to my FF data during the games and more importantly when I'm not around home on Sundays. If your not a fantasy football player it may be hard to understand the obsession, but in my circles fantasy football rules in the fall. My league, Kenmore Trash (named after the area I grew up in) has been going on for ten years and I've never won the coveted super bowl trophy. As a matter of fact, I've only made the playoffs once or twice. Part of the problem is my busy schedule relative to my slacker friends :), but this year I have the technology advantage.

Let's hope it will be enough to take it all this year. If not, I'll just have to lay blame on the lack of 3G on my Q1!

So you got another one (Samsung Q1) after your clock broke your first one?

Yep, I grabbed another one from our inventory. We actually recently got a pre-production Q1b that Sears has been messing around with. He'll be posting some comments about it once they're available. I also have seen a plastic mold of the Medion that was shown at IFA last week. It's a pretty cool unit, but I haven't been able to play with a real one yet, so I can't say how the integrated keyboard works.

Unless your number 1 pick (Shaun Alexander) starts getting into the end zone, I think you may want to start planning for next season. :)

I used my UMPC along with OneNote for the draft; so far so good at 1 and 0. :) Good luck this season. Here's the story from a week or two back: http://jkontherun.blogs.com/jkontherun/2006/08/onenote_a_umpc_.html

About Dustin

I've been at Microsoft for 9 years and I interned here for 3 years in college, so basically I've been around for a while. My technical background is in application development, web development, database design and to a lesser extent networking. I've been managing teams at Microsoft for over 8 years now in various capacities. I love software, technology, marketing and business so I tend to dabble in a lot of areas. In my spare time I hang out with my awesome wife and two young boys. When I'm not golfing that is :)
