Origami Team Blog

Where in the world is your UMPC?

UMPCs are mobile, and so are its users.  Our team is so excited to have a community that crosses not only the US, but spans the world.  In order to proudly show off the diversity of this great group, we would love for you to send us a postcard we can display on a board here at Microsoft.  It can be from your home town, or a place you have visited with your UMPC.

To thank you for your submission, we will be drawing at least every other week for some origamiproject t-shirts (and possibility some surprise gifts as well).  So please include at least your first name and email address if you want to receive a prize.  For those who love details, check here for the offical rules.

As we receive postcards, watch for updates on this site as I will make sure to take pictures as the display grows.

Please send postcards to:

Origami Project Mail

Microsoft Corp.

One Microsoft Way

Redmond, WA 98052

By the way, your postcards will only be used for contest purposes. You won’t be put on any mailing lists, entered into any databases, visited by Dustin in the middle of the night, etc. We don’t like that stuff either.

We hope you hear from you soon!

Origami Team

Eeeexcelent.  I'll have to put something together soon.  (What, you thought I'd settle for a store-bought postcard?)

Has anyone sent in a postcard yet?  I just want to be sure there is not a problem with the mail system here.  We have not seen any yet and would love to give out some fun prizes.

We have had a lot of trouble recieving these postcards.  I apologize for everyone who has sent one in and is waiting to hear the result.  We are working with the facilities to find the lost postcards as I know there are some we should have recieved and did not. Thanks for your understanding.
