    Progress report :

-Kodak moment advanced when clicked as mentioned previously

-While viewing photos in a slideshow, a new button appears at the top that looks like a box with an arroy inside pointing at the top right corner. This will switch to fullscreen and enable the automatic timed advancement. Clicking the photo while in fullscreen mode will switch back to normal.

-Clicking the Home button while viewing a slideshow will no longer send you home, but rather to the photo menu.

-The color of the frame in Kodak Moment is now randomized.

-The program now has every known feature of the original. It is functionally complete. It took one month and two days.

    NeoTechni:

Fixed the way the battery and network connection indicators work

Before they would update only when the screen updates, now they will force the screen to update when their values change.

Before I (lazily) set the alpha (translucency) of the battery icon to your power level, now the green inside will drain down by the pixel unlike the real battery status icon which only has a few different states. Ironically my method was easier to do.

Thanks so much for listening to my request, I really appreciate it. However, for some reason, it's not working for me. My battery icon is not draining, and the WIFI shows five bars even though I don't have WIFI turned on.

It must be something I'm doing wrong?

    Thanks again!

I'm testing this on another machine, if this problem is my machine rather then your program. My machine's battery is so old, that it only last about a half hour. So many the drain was way to fast. I'l let you know what I find.

One more thing. I don't have my UMPC with me, but can your program work in portrait? That would be the ultimate thing.

    Thanks again!

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

Ok, the battery drain works on another computer with no problems. So, it was most likely my old battery that wasn't working.

Thanks again for that! I have no idea why something as simple as that was not in the Origami pack.

If your interest in a small bug here it is:

When I add Programs to my program list, the Icons don't line up with the name of the program. It's almost like the icons are right aligned, and the text is center aligned.

    Thanks again!

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

The icons are supposed to be center aligned, the text left aligned.
The program works in portrait mode, but it wastes a lot of space.

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

My text looks right aligned.Kind of like:

                 ICON

                           Internet Explorer(Text)

My isn't the text centered with the icon?

    Thanks.

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

Maybe I was wrong and I apolligize. I installed this on my home notebook, and the text is now left aligined, and the icon is centered.. Sorry about that.

I know there is a reason why the text is not centered. Is there?

I did find a new bug. You battery icon, works great on my home pc. I have 36% eft and it drains in real time. Awesome! This is ok on the home screen. When I click on Music, or photos, the iconthen displays the battery as full. And I can't get it to read the real battery.

One more thing. How do I get the music to keep playing? If I load in 4 songs in the que, and the first one finshes, it won't just to the next one. I have to manully push the button to the next song.

    Thanks.

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

I would need to see the text centering thing. I don't see how it's possible considering the way the rendering engine works.

I'll look into the battery thing, as for the music not automatically advancing I have no idea as it does it for me, so I'm at a loss.

I didn't have time to test for the battery as it's so late. I'll do it in the morning though as the battery icon is very important.

    I did however fix 2 issues/bugs

-When you view music, and a song has album art. Then go to programs, the album art would show up behind each program icon. I fixed that stupid problem which shouldn't have happened since I did call the clear function

-When watching a video, then it switched to an audio file. The video would disappear and you'd be left with a blank screen. The home button is now automatically pressed so it should go back to where you were before the video started.

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

I just tried installling the eXPience on my HP TC4200, but got the "Component 'COMCTL32.OCX' or one of its dependicencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid". Error message.

This is from the latest download.

    Do you have any recommendations?

S'ok I downloaded one of the earlier Misc files and copied the COMCTL32.OCX across to my System32 file.

    All loaded up fine then.

Just can't seem to get the Progams/tools  or more programs to respond to anything.

What do you mean by that?

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

    Hi,

I just mean that after getting the eXPierence to load.

From within in eXPierence I tapped on Home/Programs and none of the options appeared to work e.g.

    Connect
    Communicate
    Entertainment
    More Programs
    Tools

When tapped displayed no discerbable action, no error message nothing.

In particular from More Programs I was expecting to be able to fire up another application, from out site of the eXPerience.

and from Tools I as expecting to maybe see some options for tweaking eXPerience. However nada.

Quite possibly my expectations are wrong.

    What should I have seen?

Music, videos and pictures all displayed really well.

    What should I have seen?

Nothing. You have to add programs yourself in Settings\Programs
