Hi all, I emailed the Averatec sales department and here is their reply:

 

Our Ultra Mobile UMPC has been pushed out until Q3. We are currently

in the process of working and finalizing designs of the product. But

it will be available in July - August 07' time frame.

P.S. this is a copy and paste of the original message sent to me so if you own a tech blog or know of a blog that has posted on this(like chippy's blog) please let them know the latest news on the AHI. 

For me it's this one, the Samsung Ultra, or the US702 but they all want me to buy them. :) 

  Pushed up to Q3.. ?! Oh well, I'm just amped that life still exist in this UMPC. Hopefully will get some new mock ups, and updated specs soon.

That brings their total delays up to nearly 1 year. They better have something good!

I was thinking that maybe this umpc was delayed for so long because(praying) it will include the same dual core chipset that is going to be used in the Q1 Ultra.

Perhaps it's true since this is geared as a "gaming device" and since the original Celeron that it was supposed to have didn't seem adequate for anything but Sudoku.
