BeDoig:It definetly suggests that it should have instant on capabilities, but I just meant to illustrate that it doesn't say for sure. It could just mean it will start the computer and launch the program with one push of a button.
well, the wording in the manual actually says that it's possible to 'PLAY movies, photographs, music etc.' WHEN the computer is switched 'off'. I can't see how else it would be able to actually PLAY these while being switched off (ie. out of Windows), unless it has an instant-on feature. If the manual is referring to the loading of AVS software through Windows start-up, then the wording in the manual would be wrong, because the computer would be switched ON when playing movies, photographs, music, etc – not off, like it says.
