To import your WMP database, go to Settings, Library, Import WMP Database

Songs/Albums/Artists will then have artwork, if they had it in WMP.

    Remaining:

    -Automatic slideshow advancement
-The other photo transition (Kodak Moment)

But this will be a process you won't do very often, as I am trying to replace WMP on UMPCs afterall.

As you mentioned replacing WMP is there any chance the eXPerience will be compatible with Gom Player or Beta Player (TCPMP) in future versions?

What I meant by replacing WMP is that you'll be hopefully using my program instead of WMP.

Those players appear to be a stand alone programs. WMP comes as an activeX control which allows me to use/control it in my programs. Those programs do not. It's a limitation of what they allow me to do with it.

If Media Player Classic came as an activeX control, I'd be forcing you all to install it as it's much better than WMP6 or 11

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

I am now adding the ability to download album art from amazon.com (you will again have to do this from the Library section of Settings, I won't have it do this while you're browsing)

In future versions of my sourcecode, my amazonID code will not be included, thus rendering the code for amazon.com inoperable unless you sign up for your own ID. This was required by their terms of use.

Not that anyone will be using my source code anyway...

Album Art can now be downloaded from Amazon.com. It will be stored in a folder labelled AlbumArt in the same folder as the program (So make sure it's not running off a read only device if you choose to use this feature)

To use this feature, go to Settings, Library, and click "Get Album Art". You obviously must be connected to the internet to use this feature.

Thus rendering the time I spent importing the WMP database, wasted.

    - The "Kodak Moment" transition is now in place.

I may have forgotten to remove some checks I used to block the mode previously (Cause it wasn't done then, so I had to make sure you're not using it) I have been testing the transition and I haven't encountered any of the old checks.

I also removed a bug in the transition, but since you guys never got the bug it doesn't matter.

Unlike the other transitions. This one progresses to the next photo on it's own. I did this out of laziness. I can fix it later if anyone cares.

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

In case I haven't warned you guys yet. This program will not work properly on windows 98/95.

The alpha blending API from 98 has a horrible memory leak and will eventually suck up all your RAM. Probably within minutes.

The API I used in the kodam moment transition is only available in ME upwards, I forget if programs will boot and just crash when the API is called, or crash on boot. Not that it matters since 9X has the memory leak to contend with.

It goes without saying 3.1 would *** slap you if you tried to run this program on it.

You can now turn off the fade effect that I worked so hard on, in the Appearance section of Settings.

Someone on another forum actually requested this :'(

I also fixed a bug in the ".." folder

Re: Would anyone be interested in an Origami Experience clone for XP?

    Please......

Can you add in the battery icon status when you battery goes to 75%, show the batyey icon, as 3/4 full, at 50% show at half full, and at 25% show at 1/4 full, at 10% show it almost empty with a red x, and finally, show a Plug when it's plugged in?

Please do this. This program would so rock!

This is a stretch, but even better could you show the battery icon in a real time drain? If not use the above.

    Thanks!

Yes. Once I get home from my doctor's appointment I will do that.

It's no stretch, it would use similar code to the volume bar

You rule! Just make sure you keep the battery icon to tell when the device is plugged in.

    Thanks again!

Fixed the way the battery and network connection indicators work

Before they would update only when the screen updates, now they will force the screen to update when their values change.

Before I (lazily) set the alpha (translucency) of the battery icon to your power level, now the green inside will drain down by the pixel unlike the real battery status icon which only has a few different states. Ironically my method was easier to do.

I fixed Kodak Moment to only advance to the next picture when you click.

I am working on adding automatic advancement based on the timer delay setting now.
