Is it "Final"? Where did you get it? Is it legal to distribute? haha.

Sorry for the delay in response. First, thanks for getting us this program.

For anyone else who is thinking about installing ethan' package, a few notes:

    1. The installer and most of the shortcuts in Origami Central are in Italian. There is a lot of English, but there is Italian.

    2. The install .bat file is wrong. If you edit it and remove the first line, it is better - the directory in that first line probably doesn't exist for most of us. Actually, it will probably run just fine because it doesn't.

    3. It's kind of sluggish... and my Q1 is a pentium M with 2 GB ram and Vista Home Premium.

That all being said, I love it! It's vastly improved in ussfulness and layout over OE 1. It even has a built-in web browser that is touch aware. (You can scroll with a finger!)

I'm going to uninstall it until I can get a full English install, but this has made me so much much more excited for it.

    Re: Origami™ Experience 2.0!

I have a (German) Shift with OE2 installed.

And I like the touch-optimized web browser that is included with it and would prefer it over "standard" browsers - theoretically.

But I continue to use IE (and might probably try Opera, Safari and Firefox, but for the moment IE will do).

    Why?

The OE web browser seems to have one major bug: If a website opens a new window, the browser turns to a white screen and does not open the new window. As I don't want to use different browsers depending on whether a website is opening separate windows or not, it is back to the "old" stuff.

So if any of the OE2 developers should read this thread: Fix the embedded web browser!

It would be nice if someone can give me a link to get it.
I'm working on a "Origami Experience" like for every kind of touchscreen device (not only origama but tablet pc too) and I would like to see how it works...

    Re: Origami™ Experience 2.0!

Brandon LeBlanc on the Windows Vista Team Blog is going to be doing a multi-part post about OE 2.0. Should be good.

Okay, now we have a sometime soon date for the release of OE 2, no word currently unto whether it is going to be XP compatible. Atleast we are getting some info trickle out of this.

    Re: Origami™ Experience 2.0!

The Origami Experience 2.0 only runs on Windows Vista. I've been running it on my Samsung Q1P and it works well. We're looking forward to releasing it on the web soon. Thank you everyone for your patience :)

Do you guys really wanna go that route with me here? I'm just going to clone the new features and steal users. I recommend making it XP compatible.

    Or I will
