As I am exploring OE2, I am finding the program launcher a little akward.  In the old OE I could make my own groups, and add programs as I wanted. 

I can't seem to find that here in OE2.  I can add a bunch of favorites, but that seems a little clunky as all the programs are listed in one tab. 

I also can't seem to add or remove programs listed in "More Programs", and I can't remove certain items (stuff in the quick launch bar) in "Favorites"

Any ideas, or are we stuck with what we have?

I really miss being able to categorize my programs and add ones that OE itself didn't find.

I'm having the same issues as you -- if I go to add/remove, I can find programs, but then there's no way for them to be in "more programs", where all programs *should* be.

I might go back to OE1 if I can find a way to keep Picture Password.

Just found this in another post:

If you go to "%ProgramData%\Microsoft\Origami Experience\Programs\Application\More Programs" in Windows explorer, you can add/remove shortcuts from the "More Programs" section.

It's WAY too clunky as a solution, especially since OE2 seemingly can't do something OE1 could, but it's *a* solution.

And the Favorites list is located in c:\users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Origami Experience\Programs\Favorites

Programs doesn't support folders (i.e. if you make a folder called 'games' and put the sudoku shortcut there, neither the folder nor the shortcut show up). I assume favorites doesn't, either.

But at least you can delete the quicklaunch icons there.
