I would love to see support for other layout but I could also live with something like the ipod touch keyboard. Have you seen it? For example if you hold "e" it pops option for "éèêë". It's not a conventional layout but quite usable and it fits many languages.

    my 2 cents

Free Keyboard for UMPC and Tablet PC's

    Version 8.12.25 released

    www.freshnet8.com

    Seasons greetings
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone. Following a long gap in releases, this is a fitting moment for a new version. Enjoy.

    .NET 3.5
This version of keyboard has transitioned to .NET 3.5. The .NET framework is available directly from Microsoft. Please use search engine with the keywords ".net 3.5 download".

.NET 2.0 installed for previous version of ZWKB may be uninstalled to conserve system resources if it is not used by any other applications.

ZWKB works noticeably faster with .NET 3.5.

    Tap box
The Tap Box has been enhanced to resist inadvertent movement as a result of being tapped.

    Key clicks
Four different key clicking sounds are available for the keyboard. The click is selected by command line option KeyClick:

    zwkb.exe KeyClick=n

Where n is a number from 1 to 4 representing the key click number. By default, if the KeyClick option is not specified, the keyboard assumes KeyClick=1. To turn off key clicking, KeyClick=off can be specified. The existing Quiet command line option is obsolete and will not be supported in future versions.

The click numbers are arranged in order of sound duration. Higher number lasts longer. If the keyboard performance is an issue, a lower click number may be selected or the click be turned off.

    Typematic
The typematic mode for the cursor keys can be disabled by the NoTypematic option:

    zwkb.exe NoTypematic

    Other items
Various other minor refinements have been made to the keyboard to enhance user experience.
