Would you like the tip to appear when in a text box on the Q1?

Well, I have the fix. I long time ago, my friend had a Sony U50, and he wanted the floating tip on his touchscreen. So we search the web and found a file called Floattip.exe. If you place Floattip.exe in your start-up folder, and reboot, the next time you place the mouse in a text box the tip will appear.

Works great!

Just place Floattip.exe in your start up folder and reboot. The next time you put your mouse in a text box, the problem will be solved.

eo owners do not have this problem but sometimes the tip does not want to show up so I guess I'll give it a try too.

It shows up in all the time for my Q1. Makes things much easier to navigate.

The same here. I joined the group and still waiting for the approval.

O.K, I got the file and it works perfectly!

I was told in another thread that there is another file called tip.exe that you can map to a button and have the TIP show up. Is this true? If so, where can I get this?

Thanks again. Everything works perfectly! I am now able to assign the TIP to a button on my Q1 as well as get a pop up box to access the TIP when I click in a text box. This increases my productively tremendously.

Thanks, this is great, I forgot how much I missed the tip until I installed this. It makes it a lot easier working with the Q1.
