Lost the right click on my Q1

    Hi,

Been lurking for a while, but my Q1P (XP) arrived in the UK today, so I've joined the Origami club! :)

I've been messing around with my new toy, and I'm pretty sure tap and hold worked as right click earlier today, and now it has gone. No idea what I have done. The tablet settings in the control panel suggest it should be turned on.

Any suggestions? I'm not keen to use soft right click if I don't have too.

    Cheers
    Marc

Check the tabletpc  settings in your control panel.

Thanks, but I had tried that and it says it is turned on.

The problem MAY have started when I tried the Touch Improvements in Program Launcher in the MS Touchpack. However resetting defaults hasn't got it back (if that is what caused it).

It's amazing how much you miss right click when it isn't there!

    Reinstall the touchkit.

It's likely the "Auto Right Click" setting in the Touch Screen utility. Look for it in your system tray and double-click it to open. Click the setting tab. Tap the Option button. See if the "Enable AutoRight Click" box is checked. You want it checked for tap and hold.

    Thank you!

That is exactly what it was.

I don't recall turning it off, but I guess I must have done.

I have to admit I was a little worried when Frank didn't know the answer! :)
