Visual Studio for UMPC and Origami?

If the Origami had a lightweight version of Visual Studio for easy on the road coding, I would be in love with the device.  I've mentioned it to a few people.  The thing i'm interested in is finding out how many coders out there would find having a lightweight version of VS on a mobile-pc useful?  Granted i'm not talking hardcore hours on end coding, but debugging a few C# files while waiting for the bus would be great! (at least i think so.)

You can always use C# Studio if you want something small, or various other alternatives (eg. SourceInsight which is easier to use with lower resolutions). It isn't that hard to code/compile with plain console and as long as it's not C# you can debug using WinDbg. ;) WinDbg is really cool tool BTW and it works and behaves under 800x600 pretty well (way better than VS). In any case - I doubt there will be any lightweight version of Visual Studio. Price is the real problem - you already have cheep (free!) Express Editions - striping them even more is really time consuming and you'll get something less usable for the same price. In the end - you'd install Express Edition anyway. ;D

I am not sure I would want to code on this device for any extended period of time as programming on small screened devices is no fun.

But I think connecting it to another monitor and keeping your code on the device could work very well if you needed to code in different spots.
