ctitanic:I'll say it again. If you try to log in AVS Now coming from Hibernation you will log back to Vista and open the AVS Software.
To log in the AVS Now partition you have to turn off your device and then turn it on but moving the switch toward the AVSNow side.
I DID turn off the Q1u before pushing the AVS button! However, I don't know what switch you're talking about. The only switch near the AVS button is the on/off switch and there are two settings: "Turn on" and "hold". No buttons will work with it in the latter position. I don't have any switches for AVS; only the button on the left side.
EDIT: I just looked at the original Q1 manual and it has a completely different setup for turning on AVS. As CTitanic says, AVS is turned on by using the "on" switch - pushing it the opposite direction from "on."
OK, in the old Q1, the on/off switch has 3 positions. the switch stays always in the middle. if you push it to the right it opens Vista or XP. If you push it to your left it opens the AVSNow partition. the log on time into that partition is around 20 seconds.
To log on into AVSNow you have to from Windows Vista or XP, turn off your UMPC and then using the on/off switch you push it to your left and log into AVSNow. If you go to hibernation and you try to turn on your Q1 in AVS Now what happens is that your device will boot into Windows and after 2 minutes logging it will open the AVS Software suite.
